Cooperation in the field of homeland security between the Israeli H.A.Sh Security Group and the Indian technology giant Micro Technologies
The involved factors estimate that the scope of transactions to be signed by the joint company, during the 3 to 5 coming years, is expected to sum up at approx. 100 million dollars
This week, the Export Institution hosted in Israel a high ranking delegation of factors from India in the field of homeland security. The visit yielded cooperation and the signing of an agreement between H.A.Sh Security Group, the Israeli group specializing in the field of homeland security – in the provision of technical and security solutions, in integrative safety in Israel and around the world and leader of the Safe City Project in Israel, and the technology giant Micro Technologies.
Within the framework of the delegation's visit the Export Institution initiated business meetings between the Indian representatives and the Israeli companies and additionally a visit to the security alignment of some vital infrastructures installations in Israel. Among other things the Indian representatives met with Zvika Ben - Shabat, president of H.A.Sh Group and retired Police Commander Dan Ronen, H.A.Sh Group's Chairperson. The visit to H.A.Sh Group led to additional meetings and to the signing of a cooperation agreement in which framework H.A.Sh will market the security technologies developed and manufactured by Micro Technologies in Israel and around the world. It will be noted that H.A.Sh Security Group is the first Israeli company with whom Micro Technologies had signed an agreement.
Micro Technologies was established by Dr. Shekhar, who served as the person in charge on behalf of the Indian Government for advancement and development of the technology and software field in India (First Director Software Technology Park in India), and his company deals with the development of technologies and is already active in many markets around the world, amongst which are: Denmark, Brussels, Italy, New York, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and more. The company has security technologies for identification and monitoring of cell phones, vehicles, structures, computers, infrastructures and WIFI technologies.
Ganapathy V (Chief Financial Officer) said that "I believe that the cooperation between the two companies creates opportunities and solutions for the global market in the field, including Israel. According to him, the "Safe City" system presented by the H.A.Sh Group is one of the most advanced he had seen. "This system can be duplicated and adjusted for many additional cities in the world. Therefore I see great potential in the cooperation".

According to the Export Institution's data: Export of the homeland security field from Israel during 2008 summed up at approx. 1.35 billion dollars. According to the Export Institution's estimation during 2009 the field's export will grow approx. 10% and will sum up at approx. 1.5 billion dollars.
